Music In Manhattan:
Café Concert for Peace

Curated by Sam Sadigursky, Hibakusha Stories will present an early evening concert at Cornelia Street Cafe in Lower Manhattan to give all participants, including Hibakusha, NGO’s, delegates, educators and students, the opportunity to relax, enjoy each others’ company and build friendships in an informal setting. In addition to the concerts, Sam Sadigursky will be producing a CD of songs dedicated to peace and disarmament. Songs will be contributed by a wide range of local musicians.

United Nations Concert & Reception

United Nations BuildingThe United Nations is the global forum for world cooperation and nuclear non-proliferation. Curated by Sam Sadigursky, Hibakusha Stories will offer an informal concert and reception at the UN for select students, Hibakusha, NOG’s and delegates to Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty Review Conference. The concert will be featuring Columbian singer Lucia Pulido, Japanese bass player Moto Fukushima and the New York-based saxophonist and jazz composer Sam Sadigursky. With appreciation to H.E. Mr. Akio Suda, Ambassador of Japan to the Conference on Disarmament, and Mr. Sergio Duarte, High Representative of the Secretary-General for Disarmament Affairs.
