Tree Planting 2

Cherry Tree Planting

We are all part of a historical tradition that preceded us and will go on after we have left this earth. We are standing on the shoulders of the past and we are investing in the future.

As the Hibakusha Initiative began with gratitude at the annual Cherry Blossom Viewing at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, it will continue with a tree planting at the Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture, Wednesday, May 5, 11:30 AM. Students, parents and teachers are invited to plant the trees and to also plant a personal intention in each individual’s heart and mind to contribute to a peaceful and sustainable future.
